“Exercise makes me feel strong and powerful. After learning what survivors go through, I want to help them find their own strength and power!” To do this, Lauren keeps her workouts simple and fun – but effective. By building on simple routines that target functional fitness, members are often surprised when they can more easily climb stairs, lift bags of groceries or mulch, or just move throughout the day with more energy. She tells new participants, “All movement counts, and you are stronger than you think!”
