BRA is seeking mission-driven, collaborative, and passionate individuals to join our Board of Directors. We’re looking for leaders who are committed to enhancing the lives of breast cancer survivors by supporting our holistic, inclusive approach to recovery.

• Passionate about BRA’s mission to empower breast cancer survivors physically and emotionally through inclusive communities.
• Committed to improving survivorship care through integrated exercise, nutrition, emotional wellness, and education.
• Values resilience, strength, and joy as essential to healing and long-term well-being.

Skills & Expertise

We welcome individuals with experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Fundraising & Philanthropy – Donor engagement, grant writing, campaign strategy, major gifts
• Healthcare & Survivorship Care – Oncology, physical therapy, mental health, coaching, advocacy
• Finance & Governance – Nonprofit budgeting, compliance, board oversight
• Communications – Storytelling, brand visibility, outreach strategy
• Corporate & Community Partnerships – Strategic partnerships with hospitals, corporations, or community groups
• Inclusion – Advocacy for diverse survivor voices and equitable access to support

Board Member Expectations

• Serve a two- or three-year term, with an option to renew
• Attend monthly board meetings and key BRA events (approx. 2 hours/month)
• Actively advocate for BRA’s mission and cultivate connections with survivors, donors, and partners
• Support fundraising efforts through giving, sponsorships, or event involvement
